But anywayz, last Tuesday I performed at the Hangover 2 advanced screening w/ my homie Enote… This is the first official show Ive ever done in Ktown and it was felt great!!! Over 600 people came out to the event to support and it was a really dope night… Very classy, everyone came out looking real fresh and ready to rep… The open bar didnt hurt either!

They were serving the good stuff: Johnnie Walker Gold Label as well as Crown Royal Black and soju cocktails… Anyone who knows their scotch knows that Gold Label would be the way to go that night…

So after sippin on a few drinks and choppin it up with some familiar faces it was time to rock the stage…

It was our first time performing together and we did a brand new set of new songs… The show was dope… It felt great performing in front of the ktown crowd and for homies I havent seen on the scene in such a long time since Ive signed to 454… This is definitely the beginning of much more to come… C yall again soon! Much luv to everyone who came up and took pics wit me at the event and all over the city since that day… Yall really motivate me to keep reppin for yall Family First style! Shout outs to my 454 family in the bay still holdin it down! Miss yall!

Let me take a moment to clear some things up for those reading this blog…The intent of this blog is mainly to satisfy your curiosities about jail life and also to keep me from being bored to death in here…There is, however coincidentally, another by-product which arises out of my ranting which is far more important than just entertainment or simply killing time. This blog sheds light, albeit accidentally, on issues concerning the public jail system including but not limited to: overcrowding, lack of funding for programs as well as food and the inhumane / unlawful treatment of inmates…

Over the course of my first few days in jail, I’ve seen multiple instances of police brutality which were completly un-called for, nor were they investigated….I’ve seen inmates verbally abused and kicked around like dogs amidst racial slurs and disparaging comments. These issues must be addressed…

Decades ago in Orange County Main Jail, the staff began to permanently house inmates in a section of the facility called the IRC…The purpose of the IRC was to hold incoming and outgoing inmates until they had been classified and were ready to be moved into regular housing or be released. The IRC is a 22 hour lockdown facility which was never inteded to house inmates for an extended period of time. I once did 15 months straight in the IRC. The holding tanks then took the place of the IRC even though they are not supplied with any hygiene items such as soap or toothpaste. Requests for toilet paper are often ignored for hours by the Correctional Officers…This is not what the holding tanks were inteded for, the IRC was. Hence the acronym: IRC (INTAKE / RELEASE CENTER…)

In all fairness, I must concede that there are still good cops (I say that with extreme discretion). They do exist and it is unfair that the ones who serve with honesty and integrity should have their images tarnished by those who choose to abuse the power given to them BY THE PEOPLE. Some take their jobs much too seriously, and others dont take their vows of service seriously enough. It is a tragedy that in my personal observations, I see a tendancy towards vice and corruption among C.O.’s compared to a dwindlng number of those who do their jobs professionally without prejudice.

In short, jail SUX! To any students reading this: don’t come to jail because it is equivalent to the longest detention you will ever serve…I was probably just as bored writing about the loop as you were reading about it. Imagine living through it…THE LIFE OF A “G”, GLAMOUR AND FAME RIGHT!? Think twice youngstars…

After catching a case while filming a documentary for SBS ive been pulled over and searched 4 times… the last time this past Friday in front of Ralphs on Oxford and Wilshire in Koreatown… I cant drive 2 f*ckin blocks without getting pulled over!

I have one question: Can a muhfucka get some groceries and a new toothbrush without getting his ride tore up and searched for 2 hours?

I guess not… Especially not in this city… But before I go any further, I want to get something clear… Im not so blinded by ignorance that I feel every police officer is out to get me… And as much as I hate to say it,you probably hate to hear it but not every cop is crooked… But honestly, it damn sure feels that way sometimes…

But I know sometimes Im asking for it… One time I was driving down Van Nuys Blvd on a Wednesday night in the worst way… (For those of you who are not familiar w/ Wednesday nights on Van Nuys Blvd its a tradition for lowriders and classic cars to be parked on Van Nuys at night Wednesdays… So around 9 or 10 pm youll see 100′s of cars parked along Van Nuys and people of all races posted up chillin showin off their rides.) They used to cruise up and down the street but now the rule is you have to be parked… This is where I come in… Im cruisin down Van Nuys around midnight in a Chrysler 300 wit 22″ rims and a taillight bulb that just went out… To the educated eye this is the nationally recognized D-boy car in America… To spice things up a lil I got 3 black dudes in the car w/ me… It doesnt take a genius to see that theres a good possibility that there could be something funny about this picture… 1 Asian guy, 3 black guys in a Chrysler 300 driving around at midnight on Van Nuys… Like I said, this time I guess I was asking for it… But just like the other times I was doing nothing more than exactly what im supposed to be doing… Im wit dope producers Going to the studio to drop hot tracks for u to bump in your Chrysler 300′s and get pulled over to… hahahha… So next time u see a police officer in Ktown or anywhere for that matter can u ask him/her “Can U give IZ a break?”

Im just tryin to live homies…
